Privacy policy
Site Construct WA (ABN 13 693 380 997) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can reach us about it.
What we collect
When you contact us or use the enquiry form we collect your name, company, email address, phone number, project and site details, and any plans, specifications or other documents you choose to send. We only collect what you give us for your enquiry.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, assess your project, prepare advice, feasibility or a quote, and, if we work together, to deliver and manage the project. We send you a confirmation email when your enquiry arrives. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
How we store and protect it
An enquiry and its documents are held briefly by our website host, Cloudflare, on its global network, until our own system collects them — usually within minutes. They are deleted from the host at that point. After that they live in our project records, on systems we control. Email is handled through Microsoft 365. The website is served only over an encrypted connection, and the stored copy can only be retrieved with a secret key held by our own system.
Cloudflare operates worldwide, so an enquiry may pass through or be held on servers outside Australia during those few minutes. We are telling you this plainly rather than burying it: if that matters for your project, email us instead of using the form.
Other services the page uses
- Cloudflare Turnstile — the spam check on the enquiry form. It sees your IP address and some basic signals from your browser to tell a person from a bot. It does not use tracking cookies and we get no personal information from it.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics — visitor numbers and which pages are read. Cookieless, and it does not follow you to other sites or build a profile of you.
- OpenStreetMap — the map of our office is loaded from openstreetmap.org, which means that service sees your IP address when the map appears.
- No advertising, no tracking pixels, no social media buttons. Our fonts are served from our own domain, not a font service, so nothing about your visit is sent to one.
Cookies
We set no cookies. The page remembers one thing on your own device, using your browser's own storage: whether you have dismissed the small “talk to us” prompt, so it does not keep reappearing during your visit. That never leaves your device and is gone when you close the tab.
How long we keep it
The copy on the website host is deleted as soon as our own system has collected it. Enquiries we do not take further are kept for up to two years, in case you come back to us. Records for projects we are engaged on are kept for as long as we are required to — for building work in Western Australia that can be many years after completion.
Who we share it with
Only with people who need it to answer your enquiry or deliver your project, such as our consultants, engineers and subcontractors, and only when that is part of the work you have asked for, or where the law requires it.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it where we do not need to keep it, by emailing [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with how we handle a privacy concern, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
